Design: It features intricate Silver Zari and Resham floral embroidery throughout the body and along the scalloped borders.
Washing & Care Steps:
To protect the delicate fabric and intricate threadwork, follow these steps:
Prioritize Dry Cleaning: Because of the heavy embroidery and delicate silk blend, professional dry cleaning is highly recommended to prevent damage.
Use Mild Detergent: If washing at home, use only a cold water soak with a mild, silk-friendly liquid detergent. Avoid bleach or harsh powders.
Handle Gently: Submerge the saree and gently dip it up and down. Never scrub or wring the fabric, as this can tear the silk fibers or snag the embroidery.
Dry in the Shade: After rinsing in cold water, lay the saree flat on a drying rack away from direct sunlight. Sunlight can cause the lavender/pink color to fade and make the fabric brittle.
Iron with Care: Use a cool-to-medium setting and iron only on the reverse side. You can also place a thin cotton cloth over the embroidery to act as a protective barrier.
